We would like to invite you to 'ESTUARISE' the first Aide and Ore Estuary Forum.

Change is inevitable

Global warming, new legislation for the protection of wildlife and habitats, the pressures of tourism, the need for new housing are just some of the factors which are putting such pressures on the Rivers Aide and Ore that change is inevitable.

Why you should attend the forum

*           Do you want more or less tourism in the area?

*           Do you own or farm land, which adjoins these rivers? Does your livelihood in any way depend upon these rivers?

*           Do you use these rivers and the surrounding area for recreation?

If so, attend the Forum or ensure that your parish councillor or representative or someone from your association or club is there to represent you.

The Estuary Planning Partnership has been formed already and this Forum is being planned so that those who may be affected can be informed about likely changes and be involved in helping to manage these changes.

Programme

This provides people with the opportunity to meet and discuss with members of the newly formed Planning Partnership for the Aide & Ore Estuary. There will be opportunities to inform the thinking of organisations involved in planning the future of the Estuary. We will include as much time for questions as we are able.
