26th September - Meeting of local Regional Flood
Defence Committee which will be asked to approve Environment Agency's proposals
to abandon river defence on the Blyth. Minutes of July meeting and agenda
for September meeting can be found by following this

The Agency will be circulating their paper on the proposed strategy for the
Blyth to members of the Committee shortly.
